Calling all Graphic Designers in Brunei
If you’re a real Graphic Designer practising in Brunei, you know very well that we needed this long time ago. dAb or Designers Alliance Brunei is in its forming. The idea is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information relevant to graphic design and business opportunity, showcase talent and advice on design.
Its all about design... our main aim is to serve the best interests of both the graphic design and creative industry, the public and private sector in Brunei and to indirectly register all graphic designers who qualify either in experiences, skills or qualification or right to use the designation Professional Graphic Designer.

Cloverfield; are you dizzy now?
Fifteen minutes or so I feel like I'm on my first trip to Labuan, in the small ferry but minus the diesel fume. My head is spinning, I really feel like I'm the one behind the camera. I shall not question the common sense of the story, because I personally believe...
I need to take a leak, should I go to the toilet now or wait? (Five minutes into the movie). I should have gone and pee (7th minutes). Duh... nothing is happening, I go tinkle now. Running, running, running... done... wash hand. Running, running, running... found back my seat. Surprisingly did not miss much at all... what with all the hype about the monster in this movie?

What a Wonderful World
I came across this satelite photo of Land_ocean_ice_lights (in the internet obviously). It was during the Millennium night showing the light intensity on earth during that time. Now this picture is a bit outdated but feel like sharing it... where were you that nite?
And the picture below was taken during the latest Columbia flight and shows Europe and Africa, half in day and half at night. Imagine... some just awaken, some is still dreaming.

Get Informed, Get the Facts
Following up from last issue, this time we will be zooming in on the type of STD, sign, how can it be spread, treatment and possible consequences.
STD prevention requires changing the behaviors that place people at risk for infection. Hopefully by understanding the type of common STD that are easily available in the market... we can reduce the risk of individuals becoming infected with STDs or, if already infected, infecting others. I'm not really sure if it is a serious case in Brunei, but ey, knowledge is power and prevention is surely better than cure.

Syenzo says; 300 is a conspiracy
With all the rave review and with everyone saying how good the movie is… last nite, I finally manage to steal some time in the evening to catch 300.
When I did the posting of the 300 Hunky Spartans not so long ago, I had to read many other reviews mainly from states and most of them had a very positive and highly praising words of the movie and just but a few negative ones. But still I have the “something is not right kinda feeling” and gave it benefits of the doubt.

FACT: Smoking can cause haze
I just cant help but to share this facts regarding smoking and the affect that is has to your neighbours. So far we have not seen any haze coming, but for the past few years we have been experiencing it almost to frequently. As reported by- Jade L.in on of the influential blog in Kuala Lumpur.

It has been more than two decades since the beginning of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Since then, more than 60 million people worldwide have become infected, including 20 million who have already died. The majority of those newly infected today—both in this country and abroad—are under the age of 25. If current trends persist, by 2020 AIDS could claim up to 100 million lives worldwide, putting it on track to be the worst epidemic in human history.
